Hyaluronic Acid – Now that’s a mouthful. So it is lovingly shortened to HA. You would also have seen Sodium Hyaluronate, a different form, on the back of some products. Some of us know this already, but for those of you new to this – don’t be put off by the word “acid” – there is no itching or burning with this material, and it is surprisingly gentle on the skin. It can be used on all skin types and has the words smooth, firm, and plump associated with it. Wonderful!!

.                                                                                                                                     So what is hyaluronic acid, and why should you be using this on your skin? Thinking of your skin, this is the largest organ in your body and has …… water. It is made up of various layers. The epidermis's topmost layer, with the dermal layer right below it. It has three crucial components: collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). There are various glycosaminoglycans in the dermis. The most common GAG is hyaluronic acid.

What makes Rejuvenation HA Hydro Intensive Serum a go-to ingredient for beauty?

Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in our bodies and is a significant component of skin, and can be found in our joints, eyes, and other connective tissue. Together with water, they create a fluid that fills the space between the collagen and elastin fibres in the dermis, giving it turgidity. Although your skin cells are already producing Hyaluronic Acid, and it is already in our bodies, hyaluronic acid can decrease with age – quick, rapidly, in fact, in our 40s and 50s! To help retain the same dewy appearance of your skin from your 20s, your skin cells may need help keeping up those HA levels.

The fantastic benefit of Hyaluronic Acid is that it can draw in vast amounts of moisture to the skin. Hyaluronic is highly hygroscopic, meaning that it pulls in water from the surrounding environment as it is that is the capability of holding up to 1,000 times in moisture, helping to keep your skin well hydrated and super supple, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and boosts firmness as it plumps the skin when it plumps out those dehydrated skin cells. The result is helping your skin get a fuller and springy look. It helps lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for this reason. All those cells surrounding the fine line all get plumped up, leading to less visible wrinkles.

We have boosted hyaluronic acid with ceramides with further benefits improving the protective barrier on our skin, thus reducing infection, breakouts, sensitivity and dehydration with this new coat of armour! Reach for  Rejuvenation HA Hydro Intensive Serum to dab on even pimples you just dabbed – technically now a wound and wait while it heals twice as fast.

Hyaluronic acid rarely has irritation or side effects and is suitable for even those with sensitive skin.

Look good for longer. Less water content in skin, wrinkling, and decreased elasticity comes with age. HA may stave off the appearance of skin ageing as it counters this as it replaces all the HA lose as we age. You get to improve the look of your skin, improving the skin's firmness, smoothness and plumpness using the multi-action Rejuvenation HA Hydro Intensive Serumwith a turbocharged combination of ingredients.

HA is very gentle and does not cause peeling or sun sensitisation. It goes to work as soon as you put it on and does not need acclimation, and you see the hydrating effects as soon as you put this on. It is so easy to use. Put it on clean skin as often as needed. It comes on after cleanser and toner and ahead of moisturiser.

This multi-active serum has a turbocharged combination of ingredients that support and increase the skin’s hyaluronic acid levels and surface hydration and improve the appearance of firmness, smoothness, and plumpness.

Rejuvenation HA Hydro Intensive Serum contains different HA molecules and chains to ensure penetration to all levels of the skin and long-lasting hydration. Formulated with antioxidant-rich nutrients to help create an effective barrier from free radicals and recover lost lustre and provide a beautifully rebalanced complexion and skin tone, with plant extracts included to balance your skin, provide good collagen synthesis, and give you a shine-free face all day long. Salicylic acid is to diminish or prevent the appearance of enlarged pores. Hibiscus and acerola extract also help even skin tone and provide elasticity and tighten skin for a visibly flawless complexion, resulting in smoother, softer skin that feels instantly more comfortable and refreshed.

To summarise the benefits:

  • Loss of firmness
  • Dehydrated skin
  • Loss of volume
  • Loss of elasticity
  • Also, it is the perfect complement to those having injectable fillers as it reduces the look of crow’s feet, nasolabial folds and other lines and wrinkles.
  • On top of that, it is suitable for EVERYONE – normal, oily, dry, combination and sensitive skins.

Use once or twice daily, apply 4-6 drops to the palm of your hand and then dot over the entire face and gently massage in.

Additionally, you can have professional treatment recommendations.
